For some reason, I noticed that most of the local or international basketball players opt to wear mid-cut high hoops. I wonder if such kind is more comfortable to wear during a game than the traditional rubber low kicks. Anyway, I’ve dig the archives and found this cool retro hoops from Fila, the Fila BB-84 in Black/White/China Red Colorway.

Originally introduced in 1984, the Fila BB-84 offers a durable leather and synthetic leather or fila buck upper, a Velcro brand fastener and a rubber sole. It comes in an almost full black upper that looks seemingly like that of a skateboard shoes. What’s good about this sneaker is that, it has an adjustable fastener on its ankle that will surely fit well on one’s foot and will have space for air to through. Given all this, I quite get the idea why guys love such kind of hoops for street fashion, as sport footwear and the likes.
