Last year (2009), the entertainment world had a blast with James Cameron’s epic film Avatar. It’s a heroic flick that features the interplanetary creatures in a very surreal manner. No wonder Nike had the guts to come out with a pair that’s designed and inspired by the film’s heroines to which they call, the Avatar Air Max 90.

The pair features the flashy yellow laces placed on the blue reptilian upper that resembles with the native inhabitants of Pandora, the Na’vi. It has got the Air Max sole in white with a dash of teal on its heel while, the Nike logo is seen on the side panels and on the ankle. Literally, the façade of this Nike Avatar Air Max 90 looks so eerie but maybe that’s what Nike would like to exhibit to make it catchier and modish. It’s said that the release of these fresh hoops has yet been told.
