Nike Air Max NM Nomo – Varsity Red/White-Black-Varsity Maize

If you have been watching Major League Baseball ever since, then you must be familiar with Japanese pitcher Hideo Nomo. Nomo signed a deal with the L.A. Dodgers in 1995 and won the Rookie of the Year award. He was also a starting pitcher in the All-Star Game of that same year. Because of his successes as a rookie, Nike gave him his own signature sneaker in 1996 called the Nike Air Max NM Nomo.

Hideo Nomo retired in 2008, but Nike is still planning to release his signature Air Max NM Nomo sometime next year. According to the info, the Air Max NM Nomo that Nike will be rereleasing features a varsity red upper with black highlights on the lining, tongue, collar, and “teeth” like detailing on the side panels. The upper of the Air Max NM Nomo is basically made up of suede which they combined with small sections of mesh. Other detailing includes the maize bubbled sole, and Nike swooshes on the side and tongue tag.
