Nike is paying tribute to the legendary college football teams and the first on the line is the Michigan Wolverines. To do this, Nike has created a Michigan Wolverine inspired Nike Vandal High which is expected for Fall 2009.

This Nike Vandal High in Michigan Wolverine includes a combination of blue and yellow highlights which you can also find on the team’s helmet or jersey. This sneaker is mostly made of a patent leather material found on front, side panels, and on the back area in combination with the suede material found on the toe box and on the ankle strap.

This suede material is highlighted in dark blue while the patent leather includes a combination of blue on the side panels with two yellow stripes detailing and yellow on front. This sneaker also includes a transparent meshed like material that composes the Nike swoosh on the side panels.

This Michigan Wolverines inspired Nike Vandal High is expected to be released by third quarter of this year. Also expect Nike to come up with other color ways for other colleges.
