This is one cool-looking sneaker from Nike so we’re wondering how Kevin Garnett could say that having a signature shoes could not beat being on the cover of NBA 2K9. The Nike Air 3 “Kevin Garnett” sneaker is a pretty decent sneaker and Garnett should be proud of it. For us, there is actually no point of comparison between having a signature sneaker and appearing on a magazine cover.

The Nike Air 3 “Kevin Garnett” sneaker is however only just a memory of that time when Garnett and Nike were a couple. The break-up will however not affect the resurrection of the sneaker so expect it to reappear by October only with a different name, the Nike Air 3. Although of course the two sneakers look very much the same sans the KG branding.

The only change you will notice with the Nike Air 3 “Kevin Garnett” and the Nike 3 is the Max Air heel unit in place of the Tuned Air. If you’re so curious then pre-order the sneaker at eBay for a price much higher than the sales price of $140.
