Nike Air Force 1 “Black History Month 2010

Black sneakers have a long history and it is expected to continue to be a hit in the years to come. The Nike Air Force 1 “Black History Month 2010 sneaker is the brand’s tribute to the black power which was inspired by the Renaissance and the black enterprise.

The Nike Air Force 1 “Black History Month 2010 sneaker comes with an interesting black leather upper, courtesy of the lasered quotes on the body. The quotes are all over the sneaker up to the toe box, that it seems only the ankle has remained untouched. The tongue and the shoe laces are all in black.

The sneaker looks very much inspired by Gucci, with its green and red accent found on the tongue. The black patent leather swoosh is outlined by green stitches, making it more interesting. In actuality, the colorway is reminiscent of the African American flag.

The red and green accent is clearly seen as it sandwiches the black midsole, with green on the upper and red on the outsole. Take a look at the Nike Air Force 1 “Black History Month 2010 sneaker lacetag and you will see the “BHM 2010” phrase. A male and female silhouette is also found on the additional tag.
