Nike is celebrating once again the Black History Month this 2009 and they have created another version for this event which reminisce a meaningful episode or occasion for the black society. For this year, they are using the Nike Air Force 1 model.
For this year, Nike is using interesting combinations of colors on their Air Force 1 to celebrate the Black History Month. Along with these is a subtle detailing which will remind of how the black people fought for their rights. This Nike Air Force 1 is mainly composed of a leather material highlighted in black color way. This black upper is accented with red highlights found on the stitching all over it and on the fabric insole lining.
This upper also includes green accents found on the tongue piping and on the bottom shoelace eyelet. This sneaker also has a laser printed logo on the back area representing the U.S Supreme Court where civil rights battles were held. This logo can also be found on the tongue and on the foot bed as well. This sneaker is finished with black midsole that include green stitching, and a gray outsole.
Unexpectedly, this Black History Month version of Nike Air Force 1 will not be released for the public and only three pairs of this will be given through a contest in Miami.
