Shoes have never been attributed with luck but this time around Lakers fans are considering the release of the Nike Air Force 1 LA 2 and before that the LA Air Force 1 among the lucky charms of the team. It can be recalled that the Lakers took home the trophy in 2001 and this year—the same years when the LA Series were released.

It is however disappointing that the Nike Air Force 1 LA 2 sneakers looked like it was an old version and the manufacturer only added the LA logo on the rear panel and on the tongue tag of the sneakers. In short, it was clearly an unimaginative version which would make you think it was not actively and seriously thought of.

But there’s one issue about this sneaker version that will not be forgotten in history—there were many pairs containing the same LA logo but which were stitched backwards. These versions made it as B-Grades in retail outlets so if you want one for posterity sake then go get them.

Despite the mishaps and the design criticisms, the Nike Air Force 1 LA 2 is clearly a tribute to the loco in every Lakers fan. The White/Canyon Gold-Deep Purple colorway is not bad either.
