Making a comeback this month is one of the most famous silhouettes among the Nike Air Max line, the Nike Air Max 97. This time, Nike is introducing this classic model with an all new colorway reminiscent of the much loved “Silver Bullet” Nike AM 97.

After imparting some of its features to the Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 and AM 24/7 recently, the Nike Air Max 97 comes back in its original silhouette and this time with a new attention-grabbing colorway. The new AM 97 has a striking metallic silver upper accented with Italy blue highlights on the insole, Air max branding on the heel tab, and Nike swoosh on the side panel. Deep royal blue hints on the tongue label and sole also adds accent to this pair. The upper of this AM 97 is made up of synthetic material in combination with mesh on the side panels, tongue, and inner lining. Also featured on its sole is the visible full length Air unit.

The Nike Air Max 97 in metallic silver/Italy blue-royal colorway is expected to drop this month at select retailers and online stores including eastbay.
