This sneaker reminds us of the attractive lava flow every time a volcano erupts. That may not be a sight to relish for those directly affected by that occurrence, but it is such an interesting phenomenon when seen as a sneaker design.
The designer of the Nike Navaro High – Black Beet Anthracite Spring 2010 sneaker may not have realized that the sneaker would be interpreted accordingly by people with very fertile minds like us. Nevertheless, the sneaker is a visual wonder for those who dig modern kicks.
The sneaker comes with splotchy tonal grey side panel, with red paint splattered around the ankle. Perforations are used on the side panels, not only to provide comfort to the wearer, but to put a stamp of ownership on the sneaker, in terms of the Nike swoosh.
The sneaker’s tongue matches the upper’s design, with grey tonal and red splatter on the top part. It has a black leather toe box, heel, and lace base. The shoe laces are also in black, to match the black vulcanized rubber sole.
