Nike SB Dunk Low “Wallenberg”

If there’s one sneaker that can claim to be for the environment then this would lead the pack. The Nike SB Dunk Low “Wallenberg” sneaker was touted as a St. Patrick Day kicks because of its colorway however, that is far from the truth.

The Nike SB Dunk Low “Wallenberg” sneaker was designed by a Vancouver, Canada art director named Bob Kronbauer. The sneaker gets inspiration from the Wallenberg Palm Tree which is a small tree found at the steps of the Raoul Wallenberg Alternative School in San Francisco. Just look at the insole of the sneaker and you will see the image of the tree that inspired this sneaker.

The same palm tree has played a great role in the development of skateboarding since 1990, and has even appeared in several videos about skateboarding. True to form, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Wallenberg” sneaker comes in a palm tree green colored upper, with a lighter shade of green on the toe box and the tongue.

The sneaker comes with a white midsole, white hemp swoosh, inner lining and piping all over the tongue and collar. The Nike SB Dunk Low “Wallenberg” sneaker is set to drop this month.
